The Polar Bear is made up of 103 separate pieces of wood. There are eight different types of wood: Olive, two kinds of Poplar, Spalted Linden, Paulownia, Walnut, Spalted White Beech, Blue Pine. They are glued together on an MDF panel.
There is no dye and stain involved. You see the natural colors of different types of wood. Wood has been finished with natural wax.
